The Udjat eye is composed of a human eye and eyebrow, combined with markings of a falcon's head.
It portrays both Horus, the son of Isis & Osiris, and the sky god named Horus. This is represented as a falcon or falcon-headed human.
The origin of this tale is of an eye that had been torn apart by the god named Seth. This was an ancient battle with Horus to avenge the murder of Osiris. A god named Thoth found the parts, healed the eye, and gave it back to its rightful owner.
The symbol represents restoration of an eye back to health.
The Udjat eye was one of the most popular symbols in Ancient Egypt, signifying protection from sickness and a pledge of devotion to family.
